About the show

Excalibur, by George Bingham and Duncan Saunders

This year we will be performing Excalibur, a traditional pantomime based on the tales of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table.

Presented by the comic duo of Jester Minit and Waiter Mo, the show has everything you’d expect: evil witches, a powerful wizard, brave knights, a noble king and his zany mother!

Written especially for The Uffington Players in 1999, we are delighted to revive this classic show for a whole new audience.

A family-friendly show, with fun for kids and big kids alike.

Running time: about 2 hours 20 minutes, plus the interval. The interval is 20 minutes on Thursday and 35 minutes on Friday and Saturday, so the show ends at about 22:10 on Thursday and 22:25 on Friday and Saturday. Please bear this in mind if you are bringing young children.
